POLICIES OF MUPING DANCE PERFORMANCE GROUP

 

Welcome to Muping Dance Performance Group. This policy sheet is for your information and benefit; please read it thoroughly to avoid any possible misunderstandings. You are encouraged to communicate with the Director any concerns or problems that you or your dancer(s) may have now or in the future.

 

ATTENDANCE

Enrollment is for each semester (about 14 classes). Dancers are expected to complete the year’s curriculum. In order to remain in the level of the class, dancers should maintain good attendance and be on time for the beginning of the class.

 

PAYMENT

Full payment is required for each semester before the first class.

 

REFUND

Withdraw from the class must be made through the written/e-mail notification before the next class starts. Full refund will be issued if withdraw before the second class, 75% refund if withdraw before the third class and 50% refund if withdraw before the fourth class. There will be no refund after the fourth class.

 

MISSED CLASSES

There is no refund or credit for missed classes for any reason, including illness or injury. Missed classes may be made up in a class of comparable placement. It is not necessary to call the studio to make up. Check the schedule for an appropriate class.

 

PLACEMENT

All dancers in all levels are carefully placed to ensure maximum progress. Dancers are placed according to age and years of dance experience. Advancement depends upon application, attitude, and dance accomplishment, not necessarily upon age or length of time spent studying dance. Enrollment in certain upper level classes are by audition only and have other specific requirements.

 

HOLIDAYS

There will be no classes on Thanksgiving Break, Christmas and Memorial Day Weekend.

 

VISITATION

Parents and friends will be invited to visit classes only on observation week which normally is on the first and last week of the semester. In order to view the class in the studio, please make arrangements with the Director or teacher.

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Announcements and holiday closings will be posted on the website or e-mail to everyone. Please check your e-mail or our website.

 

PERSONAL ARTICLES

We suggest that you do not take valuables things into the dance room. Name your belongs such as bags, shoes and clothes.

 

DRESS CODE

Sweatpants should be worn during class. Hair pulled back off the face in a pony tail or bun are required. Black dance shoes  should be worn . Ballet shoes are acceptable for children class. No Jewelry should be wired any time during the class.
